You look around the kitchen for anything you can find. Every drawer is empty, every shelf bare, and every pantry clean. The spotlessness of the kitchen leads you to the belief that someone recently cleaned it, but what do they eat? And where are they!?
As you look closer at the cleaned cupboards, you back up into one of the chairs around the small table in the center of the room. It falls, but stops. You hear the grinding of gears and before you know it, the table has sunk into the ground revealing a spiral staircase in the floor.
